Lyallpur Khalsa College, Kapurthala Organized 'Annual Prize Distribution Function-2026'

The prestigious educational institution, Lyallpur Khalsa College, Kapurthala organized its Annual Prize Distribution Function-2026 with great enthusiasm and grandeur under the leadership of Governing Council's President, Sardarni Balbir Kaur and the guidance of Principal, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon.

During the function, students who had shown their outstanding performances in academics, cultural activities and co-curricular fields during the Academic Session: 2025–26 were honoured with momentos and certificates. The programme commenced with devotional hymn singing (Shabad Gayan).

The Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr. Karamjit Singh Chahal, Registrar of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar while the Special Guest was Dr. Kuljit Kaur Chahal, Head of Computer Science Department, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. 

The college Principal, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon informed that certificates and momentos were presented to 110 students who excelled in Academics, 50 students who performed remarkably in the Zonal Youth Festival organised by GNDU, Amritsar and 40 students who achieved Distinction in co-curricular activities.

On this occasion, Principal, Dr. Dhillon also presented the Annual Report of the college for the session 2025–26, highlighting the achievements of students and staff members. He also appreciated their accomplishments and encouraged them to strive for greater success in the future.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Karamjit Singh Chahal congratulated the award-winning students & teachers and motivated them to adopt hard-work, discipline, and positive thinking in life. He stated that awards are not merely symbols of honour but sources of inspiration for future success. Encouraging students to work progressively and study sincerely, he added that only an educated person can contribute to the creation of a progressive and healthy society.

The Special Guest, Dr. Kuljit Kaur Chahal praised the hard work and dedication of the students. She encouraged them to remain persistent in their efforts and advised them to prepare themselves to face the challenges of modern times.

The college principal, Dr. Dhillon also inspired students not only to seek employment but also to engage in social service, serve their parents, and remain connected with the rich culture of Punjab. He also appreciated the role of teachers whose guidance enabled the students to achieve such success. At that moment, some parents also expressed happiness over the achievements of their children.

During the event, students also presented few colourful cultural performances which included Giddha, solo dance, poetry recitation and musical items.

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦਾਈ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਫੇਅਰਵੈਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਗਾਰੰਗ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਯਾਦਾਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ  ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ  ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਢਿੱਲੋ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਵਾਗਤੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈ ।

ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਜਲੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁੱਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮਿਹਨਤ, ਇਮਾਨਦਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੰਗਾਰੰਗ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੀਤ, ਨਾਚ, ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਿੱਧੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ।

ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਿਸਟਰ ਫੇਅਰਵੈਲ  ਬੀ ਕਾਮ ਛੇਵੇਂ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ  ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਫੇਅਰਵੈਲ ਬੀ ਏ ਛੇਵੇਂ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ  ਗੁਰਵੀਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ । ਮਿਸਟਰ ਫੇਅਰਵੈਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸ ਫੇਅਰਵੈਲ ਲਈ ਜੱਜਮੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਚੀਮਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਦਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਨਿਭਾਈ ।  ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਭਾਵੁਕ ਪਲ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ।

ਇਹ ਫੇਅਰਵੈਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਯਾਦਗਾਰ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਭਰੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਟੇਜ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਜਸਰੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨੇ  ਭਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ।

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਰਬਨ ਅਸਟੇਟ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਦੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਵਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਕਾਵਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ 15 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ, ਸਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਤੇ ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਤੇ ਗੁਰਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਜਵਾ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਕ ਪੱਖਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਚਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸੱਚਾਈ, ਨਿਰਭਉਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਰਗ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਗਿਕਤਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਰੋਸ਼ਨੀ ਪਾਈ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੌਹਲ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਲਈ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਪੰਥ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਣਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਲਿਆ । ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਜਮੈਂਟ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਅਰਬਨ ਅਸਟੇਟ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐੱਨ. ਐੱਸ. ਐੱਸ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਅਤੇ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸਵਿੰਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਰਤਨ ਡਾ. ਭੀਮ ਰਾਓ ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਜੰਯਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼

ਲੈਕਚਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ 40 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ।ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਿਪਟੀ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ (ਜਨਰਲ) ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਸੁਨੀਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਡਿਪਟੀ ਰਜਿਸਟਰਾਰ, ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਵਿਭਾਗ (ਆਈ. ਕੇ. ਗੁਜਰਾਲ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਜਲੰਧਰ) ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਡਾ. ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾਦਾਇਕ ਜੀਵਨ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਬਾਰੇ਼ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕਾਨੂੰਨਵੇਤਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਹਾਨ ਲੇਖਕ ਅਤੇ ਚਿੰਤਕ ਵੀ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ । ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੋਗਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ

ਡਾ. ਭੀਮਰਾਓ ਰਾਮਜੀ ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਵਿਚਾਰਕ, ਸਮਾਜ ਸੁਧਾਰਕ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨਵੇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 14 ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ 1891 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ। ਡਾ. ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਬਚਪਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਤੇਜ਼ ਦਿਮਾਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਹਨਤੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸਨ। । ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ Columbia University ਤੋਂ ਅਰਥਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਉੱਚ ਡਿਗਰੀ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ London School of Economics ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੜ੍ਹੇ-ਲਿਖੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਮਾਜ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਦਿਵਾ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ। ਡਾ. ਸੁਨੀਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਡਾ. ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਨਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਦਲਿਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੀੜਤ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੱਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਹਮਾਇਤੀ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਛੂਆਛੂਤ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਉਠਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਨਾਅਰਾ “Educate, Agitate, Organize” ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਏਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਡ੍ਰਾਫਟਿੰਗ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦਾ ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਨਿਰਮਾਤਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ, ਬਰਾਬਰੀ, ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮ ਨਿਰਪੇਖਤਾ ਦੇ ਮੂਲ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਹ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵੀ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ Jawaharlal Nehru ਦੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਮੰਡਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤੀ ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਗਗਨ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਦੀ ਬਣਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਡਾ. ਅੰਬੇਡਕਰ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਰਚਨਹਾਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ । ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਕੁਇਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਟੀਮ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਕਰਨਜੀਤ ਕਪੂਰ, ਅਨਵ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਿਵਮ ਯਾਦਵ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ, ਟੀਮ ਬੀ ਦੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ, ਸਮਰਜੀਤ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਮੇਸ਼ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਏ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ, ਅਨਮੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ।ਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ

ਸਰਟੀਫ਼ਿਕੇਟ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਟੇਜ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬਾਖ਼ੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਅਰਬਨ ਅਸਟੇਟ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸਿਹਤ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਹਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪੋਸਟਰ ਮੇਕਿੰਗ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 25 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਛੇਵਾਂ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਅਨਮੋਲ  ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ , ਬੀ.ਏ.  ਦੂਜੇ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਜੁਗਰਾਜ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੀ. ਕਾਮ. ਦੂਜੇ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਸਿਮਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ  ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਜੀਵਨ ਹੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਦੀ ਕੁੰਜੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਿਹਤ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਨੌਜ਼ਵਾਨ ਸਾਡਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਲਈ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਤੇ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਸਿਹਤ ਦਾ ਸਹੀ ਹੋਣਾ ਅਤਿਅੰਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋ, ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਕਨਵੀਨਰ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੌਹਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ  ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

3rd International Conference FEMIT-2026 (Frontiers in Education, Management and Information Technology) was organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Kapurthala.

An international conference "Frontiers  in Education, Management and Information Technology” (FEMIT-2026) was held at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Urban Estate, Kapurthala in which professors and research scholars from around 30 Educational Institutions (Universities and Colleges) across India have participated. In addition, several professors and delegates from abroad also presented their research papers through online mode.

At this international conference, Dr. Surya Narayan Panda, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Research), Chitkara University, Punjab, attended as the Chief Guest, while Professor Dr. Hardeep Singh, former Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academics), SGT University, Gurugram, participated as the keynote speaker. Along with them, Dr. Anand Nayyar, Professor and Vice Chairman (Research), Duy Tan University, Vietnam; Dr. Anand Thakur, Professor, School of Management and Associate Dean, Central University of Punjab; and Dr. Elammaran Jayamani, Associate Professor, Swinburne University, Malaysia, joined as Expert Speakers.

The college Principal, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon  welcomed the chief guest & distinguished guests and provided detailed information about the college’s achievements and the outline of the international conference.

At the beginning of the conference, Chief Guest, Dr. Surya Narayan Panda highlighted the importance of commerce in the modern era and explained how digital transformation is reshaping global business systems. He elaborated on e-commerce, digital payment systems, data analytics, artificial intelligence and the role of information systems in business. He also explained how organizations are expanding globally using technology, strengthening customer engagement and improving operational efficiency. Discussions were also held on the growing importance of cloud computing, cybersecurity and digital platforms.

Delivering the keynote address, Prof. (Dr.) Hardeep Singh stated that such conferences play a significant role in higher education as they help in developing presentations and communication skills, provide exposure to new ideas and methodologies and also essential for academic networking. Scholars get opportunities to connect with other educators, researchers, and industry professionals, which may lead to future research projects, academic exchanges or career opportunities. For institutions, such events help in building academic identity and for students, they serve as an inspiring experience by exposing them to academic discussions and interactions with renowned scholars.

Dr. Anand Nayyar, in his address, stated that the “Internet of Drone Things” is an advanced extension of the Internet of Things (IoT). In this system, drones are interconnected via the internet to collect, share and process data in real time. These unmanned aerial vehicles are equipped with sensors, cameras, GPS and communication technologies like Wi-Fi or 5G, enabling them to communicate with each other, ground stations and cloud platforms. This technology is widely used in agriculture (crop monitoring and spraying), disaster management (search and rescue operations), security surveillance and smart cities (traffic and environmental monitoring). It offers benefits such as rapid data collection, improved efficiency and access to remote or hazardous areas.

Dr. Elammaran Jayamani explained that the relationship between science and technology can be understood as a continuous cycle where theoretical discoveries and practical applications constantly drive each-other forward. Science acts as a fundamental inquiry into the laws of the universe—from subatomic particles to galaxies—while technology applies this knowledge to create practical tools that solve human problems and extend physical capabilities. He also emphasized on the importance of experiential learning, critical thinking and staying updated with new knowledge.

Dr. Anand Thakur discussed in detail the importance of technology in modern education. He explained how digital tools, online education and smart classrooms enhance students’ learning experiences. He also stressed that technology makes education more accessible and flexible, allowing students to learn according to their convenience. He shared insights on emerging trends in information technology, online learning management, data science, IT, business analytics and artificial intelligence.

The coordinator of the conference, Prof. Damanjit Kaur informed that five technical sessions were conducted. The first session focused on Business and Commerce Management, where research papers related to business were presented, chaired by Dr. Gurnam Singh Rasulpur (Principal, Sant Baba Dalip Singh Memorial College, Domeli). The second session covered IT and e-business, chaired by Dr. Simarpreet Singh from Bennett University, Noida. The third session on Language and Social Sciences was chaired by Dr. Balraj Kaur from Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. The fourth session on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was chaired by Dr. Manpreet Singh Lehal. The fifth session, under the supervision of Dr. Pankajdeep Kaur, GNDU RC, Jalandhar featured research presentations related to computer science.

A total number of 40 research papers were presented at the conference. The President of the College Governing Council, Sardarni Balbir Kaur, highly appreciated Principal, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon for organizing this 3rd international conference. The stage was effectively conducted by Prof. Varinder Kaur. At the end, Principal, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon thanked all the research scholars and delegates.

On this occasion, Principal, Dr. Prabal Kumar Joshi, Prof. Ranjit Kumar, District Activity Coordinator, Mr. Sunil Bajaj, International Hockey player Ripudaman Singh, Jagdeep Singh Jammu, S.Gagandeep Singh, the entire college staff and a large number of students were present.

ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਸਰਾਓ  ਨੇ “BBA ਅਤੇ B.Com ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ” ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ’ਤੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕਈ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਸ਼ਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਲਝਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਵਿਕਲਪਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਹੀ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੁਝਾਨ, ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਭਵਿੱਖੀ ਲਕਸ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਹੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ।

ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੁਮੀਤ ਸਰਾਓ ਨੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਵਿਕਲਪਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕੋਰਸ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ, ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਟੀਫ਼ਿਕੇਟ, ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਫਾਇਨੈਂਸ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਨਵੇਂ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੀ.ਏ, ਸੀ.ਐੱਸ. ਅਤੇ ਸੀ.ਐਸ.ਏ ਆਦਿ ਵਰਗੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੋਰਸ ਕਾਰਪੋਰੇਟ ਫਾਇਨੈਂਸ, ਟੈਕਸੇਸ਼ਨ, ਆਡਿਟਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਦੌਰਾਨ MBA, M.Com ਅਤੇ MA Economics ਵਰਗੇ ਪੋਸਟਗ੍ਰੈਜੂਏਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਆਦ, ਲਾਗਤ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ CFA, US CMA ਅਤੇ FRM ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਜੋ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਕੰਪਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਲੋਬਲ ਫਾਇਨੈਂਸ ਸੈਕਟਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਨੌਕਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ UPSC, SSC, ਬੈਂਕਿੰਗ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ RBI, SEBI ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਤੀ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਡਾਟਾ ਐਨਾਲਿਟਿਕਸ, ਡਿਜ਼ਿਟਲ ਮਾਰਕੇਟਿੰਗ, ਫਾਇਨੈਂਸ਼ਲ ਮਾਡਲਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਡਾਟਾ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਵਰਗੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਸਕਿਲ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਦੱਸਿਆ।

ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਿਜ਼ਨਸ ਸਟੱਡੀਜ਼ ਕਲੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਇਸ ਉਪਰਾਲੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਸੈਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਉਜ਼ਾਗਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਯੋਗਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਨਿਖਾਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ 

ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ SWAYAM ਪੋਰਟਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਆਨਲਾਈਨ ਸਰਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੋਰਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੁਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ |

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲ ਰਹੇ ਸਕਿਲ ਐਨਹਾਂਸਮੈਂਟ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ ਡਿਜ਼ਿਟਲ ਮਾਰਕਟਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਰਸ, ਜੋ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਯੋਗਿਕ ਗਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀਪੂਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾਦਾਇਕ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਇਆ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਯੋਜਨਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ, ਗਲੋਬਲ ਮੌਕਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰੀ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੀ।

ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੁਝਾਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਸਿਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਹੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਕਰਨ।
