ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾ਼ਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਬੜੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਜ-ਧਜ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਿੱਧਾ, ਲੋਕ-ਗੀਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਝਲਕ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਬਜਾਜ  ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ  ਵਜੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਡਮ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਡਿਸਟ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਯੂਥ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਮਾਈ ਭਾਰਤ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ (ਮਨਿਸਟਰੀ ਆਫ ਯੂਥ ਅਫੇਅਰਜ਼ ਐਂਡ ਸਪੋਰਟਸ, ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ) ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਏ। 

ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ ਨਾਚ ਗਿੱਧੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਨ ਮੋਹ ਲਿਆ। ਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਗੀਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੋਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਅਤ ਦਾ ਰੰਗ ਭਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਬੜੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਮਮਤਾ ਬਜਾਜ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ    ਅਤੇ  ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਮੈਡਮ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਡਿਸਟ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਯੂਥ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੀ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੌਜ਼ਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਮੀਰ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ-ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਭਾਲਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣਾ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ-ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਸਾਡੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਪਛਾਣ ਦਾ ਅਨਮੋਲ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਨ। 

ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਤੀਆਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਮਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਦਾ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲੋਕ-ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ, ਲੋਕ-ਗੀਤਾਂ, ਲੋਕ-ਨਾਚਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਂਝੀਵਾਲਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਹੈ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਰਾਸਤੀ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।  ਸਮੁੱਚਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਅਤ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਰੰਗਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਰਿਹਾ। ਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਰਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ  ਗੁੱਤ ਗੁੰਦਣ, ਮਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਨੇਲ ਆਰਟ ਵੀ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਗੁੱਤ ਗੁੰਦਣ, ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ  ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਰਸ਼ਦੀਪ ਨੇ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਤਨਵੀਰ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਗਮ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮਹਿੰਦੀ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੀਨਾ ਨੇ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਮਨਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ । ਨੇਲ ਆਰਟ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ  ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਗੁਰਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ, ਦੂਸਰਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਅਗਮ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਸਰਾ ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਜਮੈਂਟ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਚੀਮਾ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪ੍ਰਭਜੋਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮੁਸਕਾਨ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮਿਸ ਤੀਜ ਦਾ ਅਵਾਰਡ  ਹਰਪਾਹੁਲ ਆਲੂਵਾਲੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੋਇਆ।  1st ਰਨਰ ਅਪ ਅਗਮਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ  ਅਤੇ 2nd  ਰਨਰ ਅਪ ਜੈਸਮੀਨ ਕੌਰ ਰਹੀਆਂ।  ਮਿਸ ਤੀਜ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਦੀ ਜਜਮੈਂਟ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ, ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਦਮਨਜੀਤ ਕੌਰ  ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸਮੁੱਚਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ, ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਾਂਝ ਦਾ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਬਣਿਆ।  ਰਵਾਇਤੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਗਹਿਣਿਆਂ, ਪਹਿਰਾਵਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ-ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਝਲਕ ਨੇ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੀ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਾਇਆ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਤੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ। ਪੂਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਪੰਜਾਬੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਰੰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੰਗਿਆ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਇਆ । ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਟੇਜ ਦੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਜਸਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਬਾਖੂਬੀ ਨਿਭਾਈ।

Special Awareness Programme Organised at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Kapurthala to Mark International Youth Day

A special awareness programme dedicated to International Youth Day was organised at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Kapurthala by the NSS Unit, Red Ribbon Club, and My Bharat Kendra, Kapurthala. The main objective of the programme was to sensitise the youth towards their social, cultural, and national responsibilities.

On this occasion, Madam Gagandeep Kaur, District Youth Officer, My Bharat, Kapurthala, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Principal of the college, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon, warmly welcomed the Chief Guest by presenting her with a floral bouquet.

Addressing the students, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon highlighted the importance of youth power, social responsibility, and the role of young people in nation-building. He stated that the youth are an important foundation of the country's progress. He emphasised that, in the present times, along with education, it is equally important for young people to focus on skill development, the responsible use of technology, creative thinking, and participation in social service.

During the programme, students participated in various activities and conveyed messages encouraging the youth to engage in education, skill development, environmental protection, de-addiction, and social service.

The Chief Guest, Madam Gagandeep Kaur, while addressing the students, said that the youth are the greatest strength of any nation. Extending her greetings to the students on International Youth Day, she emphasised that young people should be aware not only of their rights but also of their duties and should actively contribute towards the betterment of society.

She further stated that young people possess immense energy and creative potential. If this energy is provided with the right direction and opportunities, the youth can make a significant contribution to the development of the nation. She motivated the students to become responsible citizens and come forward to work for the welfare of society.

At the conclusion of the programme, the students took a pledge to contribute towards social awareness and nation-building. In the end, Prof. Manjinder Singh Johal, In-charge of the Red Ribbon Club and NSS Unit, expressed his special gratitude to the Chief Guest, Madam Gagandeep Kaur, for gracing the occasion. He said that young people can bring about positive change in society by utilising their potential in the right direction.

The programme was successfully conducted with the active support and cooperation of the faculty members and students of the college.

ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਗਏ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ. ਛੇਵੇਂ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਰਨੂਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ 7.37 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਾਰੁਲ ਪਰਾਸ਼ਰ ਨੇ 7.35 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਨਾਲ ਦੂਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਮਰਤਾ ਨੇ 7.32 ਸੀ.ਜੀ.ਪੀ.ਏ. ਨਾਲ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅੰਕ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਭਾ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਚ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਵਿਹਾਰਕ ਗਿਆਨ, ਹੁਨਰ ਵਿਕਾਸ, ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਸਿਖਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੀਅਰ ਮਾਰਗਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਉੱਤਮਤਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਨੈਤਿਕ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ, ਲੀਡਰਸ਼ਿਪ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰਮੁਖੀ ਹੁਨਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸਮਰੱਥ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਜਵਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਲਈ ਸ਼ੁਭਕਾਮਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।

ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਠੋਸ ਕੂੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਨਿਯਮ 2026 ਤਹਿਤ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਈਕੋ ਕਲੱਬਾਂ ਦੀ ਅਹਿਮੀਅਤ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਫਾਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਐਂਡ ਇੰਨਵਾਇਰਨਮੈਂਟ  ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਯਤਨਾਂ ਤਹਿਤ ਅਨਿਲ ਅਗਰਵਾਲ ਇੰਨਵਾਇਰਨਮੈਂਟ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਇੰਨਸਟੀਟਿਊਟ ਨੀਮਲੀ , ਅਲਵਰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਟੇਟ ਪੱਧਰੀ ਗਰੀਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਆਡਿਟ ਦੀ ਟ੍ਰੈਨਿੰਗ ਲੈਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕੁਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਲਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਤਜਰਬੇ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਟੀਮ ਇੰਨਚਾਰਜ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜਗਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੰਮੂ ਨੇ ਗਰੀਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਪੋਰਟਲ ਦੀ ਆਨ ਲਾਇਨ ਡੈਮੋ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ।

ਵਰਕਸ਼ਾਪ ਮੌਕੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਐਕਟਿਵੀਟੀਜ਼ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੁਨੀਲ ਬਜਾਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੱਧ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਈ.ਈ.ਪੀ. ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ,  ਗਰੀਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਆਡਿਟ ਜਿਸ ਤਹਿਤ ਹਵਾ, ਊਰਜਾ, ਖੁਰਾਕ, ਭੋਂ , ਪਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਹਿੰਦ ਖੂੰਹਦ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਆਡਿਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ 'ਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਣ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ I 

ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ  ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਜੀ.ਡੀ. ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ  ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਬਾਂਸਲ , ਆਈ.ਏ.ਐਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਯੋਗ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਏਕ ਪੇੜ ਮਾਂ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ 3.0 ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਜ਼ਿਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਰੁੱਖ ਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਗਰੀਨ ਸਕੂਲ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਐਵਾਰਡ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪੰਜ ਸਕੂਲ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਬਲੇਰਖਾਨਪੁਰ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ ਹਮੀਰਾ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ ਪੰਡੋਰੀ  ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਾਈ ਸਕੂਲ ਪੰਡੋਰੀ ਦੇ ਈ. ਈ.ਪੀ ਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ  ਵਧਾਈ  ਦਿੰਦਿਆ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਫਾਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਐਂਡ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ. ਕੇ. ਐੱਸ. ਬਾਠ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਡਾ. ਮੰਦਾਕਿਨੀ ਵਲੋਂ ਈਕੋ ਕਲੱਬ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੌਹਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ  ਸਮੂਹ ਇਕੋ ਕਲੱਬ ਕੋਆਰਡੀਨੇਟਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਮੀਦ ਜਤਾਈ  ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਪੱਖੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਚੜ ਕੇ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਪਾਉਣਗੇ ।

ਲਾਇਲਪੁਰ ਖ਼ਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਰੈੱਡ ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ, ਐਨ. ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਅਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ  ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ, ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਚੇਤਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਊਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਲਿਦਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਫੁੱਲਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਲੇਖ ਲਿਖਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ।

ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ 40 ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ, ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਊਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਦੁੱਤੀ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੇਖਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਨੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਊਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਸਰੋਤ ਹੈ।  ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਊਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਜਲ੍ਹਿਆਂਵਾਲਾ ਬਾਗ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੋਸ਼ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਦਾ ਬਦਲਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ, ਦੇਸ਼ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ । ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਦਰਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਪਣਾਉਣਾ ਹਰ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਦਾ ਫ਼ਰਜ਼ ਹੈ। ਰੈਡ  ਰਿਬਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਅਤੇ ਐੱਨ. ਐੱਸ. ਐਸ. ਦੇ ਇੰਚਾਰਜ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੌਹਲ ਤੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਿੰਪਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ  ਵੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਊਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ  ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੇਸ਼ ਸੇਵਾ, ਹਿੰਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੀਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਸਦੀਵੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਹੈ।  ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕ ਅਤੇ ਬੌਧਿਕ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਖੋਜ, ਚਿੰਤਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ  ਬੀ.ਏ.ਤੀਜਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਹਰਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ  ਨੇ, ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਸੁੱਖਦਮਨ ਕੌਰ  ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ  ਬੀ.ਏ. ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਮੈਸਟਰ ਦੀ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਨੇ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ । ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ  ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਬਲਦੇਵ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਮਨਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੌਹਲ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਡਿੰਪਲ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਨੇ  ਸਨਮਾਨ ਚਿੰਨ ਦੇ ਕੇ  ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਊਧਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਲਿਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸਾਏ ਰਾਹ 'ਤੇ ਚੱਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਵੀ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

Workshop on the Role of AI Tools in Teaching and Research Organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Kapurthala

A Faculty Development Workshop on the theme “AI for Faculty: Practical AI Tools for Teaching, Research & Productivity” was organized at Lyallpur Khalsa College, Urban Estate, Kapurthala.

During the workshop, Prof. Kirandeep Kaur delivered a detailed presentation on the expanding role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in higher education and its practical applications in teaching, research, content development, and academic productivity. She introduced the faculty members to leading AI platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Microsoft Copilot, Canva AI, Gamma, Framer AI, GitHub Copilot, Synthesia, Veo, and Sora, and discussed their applications in lesson planning, research, presentation design, academic writing, website development, educational video creation, assessment, and classroom activities. Information was also shared about Indian-developed AI platforms such as Krutrim, Sarvam AI, and Merlyn AI.

A live demonstration of Prompt Engineering was also conducted, explaining the importance of writing effective prompts to obtain accurate and meaningful AI-generated responses. In addition, special emphasis was laid on the ethical and responsible use of AI, the verification of AI-generated information, data privacy, and the need to uphold academic integrity.

Appreciating the initiative taken by Prof. Kirandeep Kaur, Principal Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon remarked that understanding and making effective use of AI tools has become an essential requirement in modern education and research. He added that such workshops play a significant role in enhancing the knowledge and professional competence of teachers and researchers.

The workshop also included practical demonstrations of various AI tools, and the queries raised by the faculty members were addressed during an interactive session. The participants described the workshop as highly informative, beneficial, and well suited to the needs of the present time.

At the end of the workshop, Prof. Manjinder Singh Johal thanked all the faculty members for their enthusiastic participation. The proceedings of the programme were efficiently conducted by Prof. Varinder Kaur, who served as the master of ceremonies.

Among the students of the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme, Amanpreet Kaur secured a place in the University Merit List with a CGPA of 8.25, while Varanpreet Kaur also earned a position in the Merit List with a CGPA of 8.21, thereby enhancing the prestige of the college.

In the BCA Sixth Semester results, Amanpreet Kaur secured the First Position in the class with SGPA of 9.64 & Varanpreet Kaur stood Second with SGPA of 9.45, while Dolly and Gurleen Kaur jointly secured the Third position with SGPA of 9.27 each.

The college Principal, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon stated that this success is the result of the students' hard work, dedication and the sincere guidance of the faculty members. He expressed confidence that this achievement would inspire other students to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

On this occasion, the parents of the students were also congratulated and best wishes were extended for the students' bright & successful future. The Principal highly appreciated the commitment, dedication and effective mentorship of the faculty members. He further expressed hope that these students would continue to achieve greater milestones through their hard work, perseverance and discipline, thereby bringing further glory to the college and their families.
