Limelight on "Types of Government" shared by Prof Manisha

                                                            Types of Government

1. Democracy: Democracy is a form of government that allows the people to choose leadership. A      government where the majority makes the decisions by voting.

2. Dictatorship: Rule by a single leader who has not been elected and may use force to keep control. Usually, there is little or no attention to public opinion or individual rights.

3. MONARCHY:   In a monarchy, one family rules, and their title is passed down through the generations.

4. AUTHORITARIAN GOVERNMENT:  In an authoritarian regime, the government has total control. Authoritarian regimes have typically earned this control by forceful means.

 5. Parliamentary: This system is led by representatives of the people. Each is chosen as a member of a political party and remains in power as long as his/her party does

6. Totalitarian government: it takes absolute power to the extreme. These leaders control not only the government but also the personal lives of their people.

7. In an Aristocracy, the wealthy or noble hold the power. These privileged few leaders make up the ruling class or elite.

8. Oligarchy: A government where decisions are made by a group known as the "elite" (intelligence/race/money).

9. Theocracy: A government where laws are made by god, but interpreted by a religious figure

10. Oligarchy: Similar to a monarchy, an oligarchy places power with a few people or families, typically a country’s wealthy elite. Unlike aristocracy, oligarchy is not necessarily dependent on noble birth, but on wealth or those who are deemed most “capable” of ruling

ENHANCING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE THROUGH MONETARY INCENTIVE - Shared by Professor Harpreet Kaur

ENHANCING EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE THROUGH MONETARY INCENTIV

Monetary incentives means to exchange prices for labor. The most valuable asset of an organization is people who work there. They contribute to the achievement of an organization's objectives. Monetary incentives helps to motivate employee and to increase the productivity, Money is effective in attracting, motivating and retaining employees. Monetary incentives include profit sharing, bonuses, pay and allowances, stock options etc. Bonuses are fixed according to a specific performance parameter. And if company or  an organization failed to give the bonus on time also leads to dissatisfaction and demotivation among the employees.

The management of an organization needs to recognize it so that the employees get motivated to put their best efforts towards completing their task. This will help to enhance loyalty towards the organization and offering monetary incentives will improve their performances.

Prof Amandeep Singh sharing The Role of Schools and Colleges in upbuilding Youth

 The main purpose of schools/colleges.

Schools and colleges are always considered as lighthouses which enlightens the nation by developing the characters of the students in a positive way. Although the topic of the 'main purpose of schools/colleges' is always debatable, as one thought says that  educational institutions must produce  ideal persons which would be beneficial or important rather than only individuality development. The other thought is exactly opposite. I however think that both ideas should go side by side.

Ideas in favor of socialistic persons.

1. Schools/colleges helps children to develop and make them ready as a socialistic active persons in future, by providing guidance and seminars hosted by great philosophers and famous social workers. These knowledge providers  have direct interaction with students and by taking guidance from these  influential personalities, learners become more socially active.

2. Schools instill moral values and ethics in their pupil, which are very necessary for happily living in community.Third, all types of subjects  are taught by teachers upto primary and secondary levels, consequently candidates have knowledge in all fields irrespective of their majors in graduation.

3. What's more, team learning, which is one of the fundamental principles in the working class, is also taught in schooling. This helps the Students to become more participative in team projects in their future.

Ideas in favor of individual development.

1. Education centers also trained them as active personnels which is also important for future growth. To commence with, schools make them ready for university studies by guiding them about different subjects and their benefits in future , as a result, students choose the options according to their interest and ambitions in higher education.

2. Special coaching classes are organised by many schools to make them ready for competitive exams, so that they can grab the jobs by competing with hundreds of examinees.

3. Co-curricular activities at primary levels help individuals to find their hidden talents and teachers also help them to polish it. By developing their untapped talents, they can become successful businessmen in their futures, which ultimately benefits the society.

Verdict

To conclude, from my perspective, I believe that teaching and making students great citizens and polishing their personal growth, both are the main responsibilities of the schools/colleges.
