STOCK EXCHANGE
Stock exchange is a regulated market where the listed securities are sale and purchase. It is also
called the secondary market because existing companies dealt with the securities. The main
objective of stock exchange to protect the interst of investors. Stock exchange play the important
role in mobilizing the savings of investors. Investors invest their savings for purchasing of
shares,debentures, bonds etc from the exchanges.
TYPES OF SPECULATORS AT STOCK EXCHANGE
BULL: Bull is operator who expects a rise in prices of securities in future
BEAR: He expects prices to fall in future and that’s why he sells his securities at present and
purchase them at lower price in future.
STAG: He expects to sell the securities at a premium and that’s why he select those companies
whose shares are in more demand.
LAME DUCK: When bear is not able to fulfill his commitment ,he is called a lame duck.
