Media: What a big issue of today's life!
Media dominates the modern age. It has a very important role in our society today. We have it with us in books, newspapers, television,radio.It brings us information, entertainment and education.
The media, both print and electronic informs the mass audience, educate them and mobilizes them towards a desired goal. Media keeps us focused on the issues. The media keeps an eye on the actions of the Government. It is true that the media provides us the latest news. The media has the capability to hold the government accountable , forcing them to explain their actions and decisions. Media can mold public information if it is sincere in its job.
Media are sometimes exaggerating things to make money without caring for what reality is. ln a democratic country, it should aim at taking interests of the country and its people. By showing all the trash on the screen ,some television channels are having a very harmful effect on the minds of the young. Media should highlight the plight of the common man, corruption in all departments of the government, the lack of health care in hospitals and crime. It should work for better quality of life.
