THE REPUBLIC DAY

Republic Day 26th January is celebrated as a National festival as it is the day when the country marks and celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950 in the year 1950, India became republic. It means that India has the government of the people and the real power lies in the hands of public. They choose their own representatives who run the government according to their wishes.

Republic day is celebrated on 26 th January every year. On this day in the year1950, the constitution of India came into effect. Our constitution gives us various rights and responsibilities too. We live in a democratic country where people enjoy their fundamental rights. India became a sovereign, democratic and republic nation on this day.

We celebrate republic day to pay tribute to the freedom fighters for their sacrifices. The republic day parade shows the defense capabilities of the Indian armed forces. This day inculcates in us the feeling of brotherhood, peace and patriotism.

The day brings together people of different casts, creeds, colors and backgrounds to celebrate the occasion with great enthusiasm. The ceremony proceeds with a 21-gun salute, singing of the national anthem, and hoisting of the national flag. The brave soldiers are presented with the Paramvir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, and Vir Chakra. Children and citizens who have shown courage in difficult circumstances are also recognized with awards.

26 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦਿਨ

1950 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਸੀ। ਭਾਵ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਲ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ

ਜਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨੁਮਾਇੰਦੇ ਚੁਣਦੇ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ

ਚਲਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ 26 ਜਨਵਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ 1950 ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਦਾ

ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋਇਆ। ਸਾਡਾ ਸੰਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ

ਇੱਕ ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰੀ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੌਲਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਆਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ

ਦਿਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂਸੱਤਾ ਸੰਪੰਨ, ਲੋਕਤੰਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਬਣਿਆ।

ਅਸੀਂ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਸੈਨਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਂਜਲੀ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ

ਮਨਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਗਣਤੰਤਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਪਰੇਡ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਹਥਿਆਰਬੰਦ ਬਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀ

ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ, ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਭਗਤੀ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਹ ਦਿਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਜਾਤਾਂ, ਧਰਮਾਂ, ਰੰਗਾਂ ਅਤੇ

ਪਿਛੋਕੜਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਸਮਾਰੋਹ 21 ਤੋਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਲਾਮੀ, ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਗੀਤ ਦੇ ਗਾਇਨ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਝੰਡਾ ਲਹਿਰਾਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਗੇ

ਵਧਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸੈਨਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮਵੀਰ ਚੱਕਰ, ਅਸ਼ੋਕ ਚੱਕਰ ਅਤੇ ਵੀਰ ਚੱਕਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ

ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਔਖੇ ਹਾਲਾਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਦਿਖਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੁਰਸਕਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ

ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

 On occasion of Republic Day, Red Ribon Club organised Slogan Competition at Lyallpur Khalsa College, urban estate kapurthala on Jan 25,2022.  More then 50 students participated in this competition. Sardar Jaswant Singh Rai Memorial Trust Jalandhar awarded scholarship to two very brilliant students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Kapurthala. This Scholarship worth RS.24,000 was awarded to students Mehak(BCA-III SEM) and Sukhpreet Kaur (BSC V SEM) by S. Karamjit Singh , Chairman of the Trust. Madam Balbir Kaur, head Governing Council LKC presented vote of thanks to S.Karamjit Singh. ਅਕਸਰ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਇੱਕਲੀ ਬੈਠੀ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਰਦੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕੱਲਾਪਨ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਉਚਿਤ ਹੈ, ਜਿਊਣ ਲਈ।
ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਕਰਾਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਤੀਜਾ ਇਹੀ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਕਿ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਜਿਊਣਾ ਹੀ ਬੇਹਤਰ ਹੈ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਸਨੇ ਟੁੱਟਦੇ- ਭੱਜਦੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਰੀਬ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।

ਖੁਸ਼ਮਿਜਾਜ, ਜਿੰਦਾਦਿਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਕਦੋ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆ ਦੀਆ ਗਹਿਰਾਈਆ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਗੱਲ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਾ। ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਬਦਲਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਸਦੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਵੀ ਬਦਲ ਗਈ,  ਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਵੀ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਉਸਦੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਬਰ ਦਾ ਘੁੱਟ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਸਮਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ ਮਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਲੱਭਿਆ ਸੀ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਲਈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਡ਼ਾਈ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਕਦਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਉਸਦੀ ਪਡ਼ਾਈ ਦੀ ਕਦਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਸਦੇ ਸਹੁਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨੌਕਰਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਸੀ ਜੋ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਹਮਸਫ਼ਰ ਜਿਸਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਆੲੀ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਗੱਲ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਕਰਦਾ।
ਨਿੰਮੀ ਜੋ ਕਦੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਰਦੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਆਪਣਾ ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ, ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਆਪਣਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਜਿਉਣ ਦੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਇਜ਼ਾਜਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ,  ਹੁਣ ਗੱਲ ਗੱਲ 'ਤੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਆਦੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਕਿ "ਇਹ ਘਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਪਿਉ ਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ "।

ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁੱਝੀ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਕਦੋਂ ਪੜੀਲਿਖੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਨਪੜ੍ਹ ਬਣ ਗਈ, ਉਸਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਲੱਗਾ।
"ਆਪਣਾ ਘਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ, ਆਪਣੀ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ " ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਹੁਣ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ, ਬਚਿਆ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਨਿੰਮੀ ਦਾ ਤੁਰਦਾ ਫਿਰਦਾ ਬੁੱਤ।

 ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਤਿੰਨ ਕਵੀਤਾਵਾਂ ਸੁਣਾਈਆ ਡੇਢ ਘੰਟਾ ਕਵੀਤਾਵਾਂ ਸੁਣਾਈਆ ਉਥੇ ੫੨(52) ਕਵੀ ਬੈਠੇ ਸਨ।ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਖਜਾਨਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਮਾਰੀ ਕਰਮਚੰਦ ਖਜਾਨਚੀ ਜੀ___

ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ - ਜਿੰਨੀਆ ਵੀ ਖਜਾਨੇ 'ਚ'

ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਥੈਲੀਆ ਚ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਆਉ।

ਸੱਜਣ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਮੈ ਏਨੀਆ ਮੋਹਰਾ ਕੀ ਕਰਨੀਆਂ

ਫਿਰ ਖਜਾਨਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਮਾਰੀ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਗਵਾਲੀਅਰ ਦੇ ਕਿਲੇ ਦੀ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੇ ਹਾਥੀ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਹਾਥੀ ਵੀ ਹੰਸਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੈ ਉਹਨੂੰ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰੋ।

ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਥੀ ਤਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ?

ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਤੇਨੂੰ ਰਾਜਾ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਗਰੀਬ ਨਹੀ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇਣਾ।

ਹਾਥੀ ਵੀ ਲੇ ਆਏ ਤੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਾਲਕੀ ਰਖਾਵਾਈ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ 10 ਸਿੱਖ ਘੋੜਿਆ ਵਾਲੇ ਲਿਆਓ 9 ਘੋੜਿਆ ਤੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਲੱਦਣਾ ਇੱਕ ਤੇ ਨਗਾਰਾ ਬੰਨੋ। ਜਦੋ ਇਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਿਆਸਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਾਊਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕ ਕਹਿਣਗੇ ਕੀ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਜਾ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ "*ਹੰਸਰਾਮ ਰਾਜਾ*" ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੰਸਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਹਾਥੀ ਤੇ ਚੜੋ।ਉਹ ਹਾਥੀ ਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਉਤਰ ਗਿਆ।

ਉਹਨੇ ਹੱਥ ਜੋੜੇ ਤੇ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਮੈਂ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਨੀ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਖਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।ਹਾਥੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਮੰਗਿਆ ਤੁਸੀ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਹੁਣ ਇੱਕ ਚੀਜ਼ ਮੈ ਮੰਗ ਕੇ ਲੈਣੀ ਆ ਜਿਹੜੇ 52 ਕਵੀ ਖੜੇ ਸਨ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਨਿਯਤਾਂ ਤੇਂ ਏਨਾ ਕੁਝ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਮੰਗਣੀ ਹੈ।

ਉਹ ਕਵੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਇਸ ਤਰਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵੇ ਇਹਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਪੁੱਛੋ ਇਹਦਾ ਕੀ ਪਤਾ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਦਾ ਕਿਲਾ ਹੀ ਮੰਗ ਲਵੇ।।

ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਦੱਸ ਕਿਹੜੀ ਚੀਜ ਲੈਣੀ ਉਹ ਕਵੀ ਹੰਸਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਥੋੜੀ ਜਿਹੀ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ  ਆਪਣੇ ਚਰਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇ ਦਿੳ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਕਿ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਰਹੀ ਤੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਗਾ ਵੀ ਮਿਲ ਜਾਉ।

ਜਿਹੜੇ 52 ਕਵੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੂਚੀ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਗੋਇੰਦਵਾਲ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਲੱਗੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਉਹਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੰਸਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ।

Political science may not be a professional course, but it will equip you with knowledge and understanding of how the political scenario functions and will groom your critical thinking skills. There are a variety of career paths you can pursue after studying political science, both in govern jobs and in the private sector.Most students think that a Political Science degree means you want to be a politician, but it can also lead to many other exciting careers. Here are just a few

1.Civil Services   A career in civil services such as the IAS (Indian Administrative Service) and IFS (Indian Foreign Services) is one of the most popular choices for those studying political science. The role basically involves helping the nation run smoothly, influencing the decision making process and representing India. As many questions from the preliminary and main civil services exams are based on polity, studying political science will give you an edge in the exams.

2. Politics    A career in politics has been gaining popularity with more young people joining the field in recent times. You can work as a politician directly, or you can also act as a political analyst or campaign manager associated with the government or a political party. There is no formal course to join politics, but a political science degree will help you a great deal. You can enter the field by volunteering and looking into political parties that match your  ideologies .

B.A Political Science graduates have a thorough understanding of politics and the political environment which makes them ideal candidates for media roles such as political journalists, editors, and correspondents. To enter the media field, you can pursue a post-graduate course in journalism or mass communication

7. Marketing : Marketing is an integral part of every business as it connects the supplier with the consumers. Political science graduates have an understanding of how society functions, and the flow of power and political systems which are an asset in the field of marketing. For a career in marketing, you can pursue an MBA or take up short-term courses/diploma courses in marketing after completing your graduation.
